I recall some time ago that there was a roofing place which sold the Eternabond Tape at a very reasonable price. But that's it, I recall but cant remember the address or the name and I was sure I had it bookmarked.
Can somebody please let me the where to get this tape. I think there was a Canadian supplier as well. But either one will do.
Thanks a lot.

You're probably thinking of www.rooferstoolsonline.com

...but the page doesn't come up anymore, at least tonight.

http://bestmaterials.com/SearchResult.aspx?KeyWords=eternabond

...results in a number of hits on Eternabond. You'll need to be sure their description takes you to the EB product you want.

I re-did all my aluminum roof seams with 4" One-Step, which is the one with the finished white top surface. EB doesn't represent that it'll hold paint, and in my case it didn't. I don't mind since the roof got painted white anyway, so white peeling to white is well, white.

JD! Thanks for the links to eternabond tape.Went to bestmaterials last night and ordered two rolls.
On my previous coach I did the seems as well but in error I ordered black. This was dumb but I could not return it. I did check with an auto body shop about painting plastic and was told that I first had to apply a "Plastic Adhesion Promoter" available where auto body supplies are sold. I did this and spray painted the black tape white. It was still on when I sold this coach a couple of years later. The paint was just a cheap white indoor/outdoor spray can.

In Canada you can now get Etrnabond at Home Hardware Stores. Not all stores carry it but they can get it in for you.

Regarding painting Eternabond. I called the company that sold me the tape and here is what I was told. "There is a protective UV coating on the tape. You can remove it by whiping the tape with Varsol. The sheen on the tape will leave and it will then accept any type of spray paint." I did this and it worked. I bought my tape from the main distributor in Canada. They are wholesaler/retail suppliers. They are located in Ontario. 1-705-497-3804. Now I'm off to enjoy this beautiful week end.

Well it's happened. The Canadian price i paid for a roll of Eternabond yesterday is actually lower than the US. Imagine that! I got a roll of the white, it was 4" wide and 50 ft long for just a bit over $40.00. I got it through mail so it cost me under $10.00 for shipping. I am a happy camper. I called them toll free at 1-866-915-4315. Now I have my work cut out for me.

Yes you do! Get the surface clean, chalk off it, sure there's no silicone, and apply. You will not have to do it again.
Don't underestimate its grabbyness. One touch and it's stuck!

JD, that was the Canadian company called AJB Distributing. They are apparently the Canadian distributor.
