I have a 30 amp motorhome several times i have tripped the circuit breakers and been in a rv park in canada which only has 50 amps(plug in) what long term effects does this have on your motorhome or appliances. you can buy the 30 to 50 adapter at walmart,so you can plug your 30 amp to 50 amp socket.. thank you for your imput..paul

Your trailer will only draw what its breakers will permit, so a 30A trailer will be very happy on a 50A service.
Going the other way could be a hassle. If the campground only has 15A service, you could overload it very easily.
Hope that helps
