Hi folks. We have a motorhome and live in New Mexico. We are going round and round about the pros and cons of a cover for the rig. On the pro side: protecting the paint from sun and dirt. On the con side, since New Mexico is so windy, that the cover might cause a rubbing effect against the paint. And if the rig is covered will condensation come into play? Thanks, and happy Rv'ing.

Having lived in NM for almost 7 years while in the military I know what the wind can do to paint in terms of blowing dirt and dust. If you have to leave your MH out in the open subject to the blowing wind elements, I'd probably would cover. If I could put it somewhere it's protected from the the wind, I'd leave it uncovered. As far as condensation is concern, if the cover is the breathing type, that should not be a problem.
