I would appreciate any information and opinions regarding the Flojet macerator pump. It is a device that is hooked up to the holding tank from which you can pump your treated sewage through a garden hose up to 75' to a septic tank. It costs around $300.

I don't have one but I've read good things about it on other forums. Have been tempted to get the system myself but haven't been able to justify the cost verse use.

I have used one on my motorhome; I can pump out my 27gallon black tank through a 100 foot long 3/4 inch diameter hose into a sewer cleanout in my yard in less than 10 minutes.

I have had mine for over a year and it works great. I've recomended it to several friends and the are all happy with them.

Camping World has them for $111.00 if your a member and an extra 10' of hose is $23.50.
