Would appreciate any first hand experience anyone would like to share about towing a Honda CRV behind a motor home?

I had 2002 CRV. Sold it cause went to a 5'er . I wore the motorhome out. Towed all over, had no trouble. Just go by the owners manual and you will not have any trouble.
Don't know about other toads but I was sure happy with the CRV ALL Wheel drive.

I have a 2004 CRV, automatic. Pulls very well, amd like Sam said, follow the manual instructions, which involves running transmission thru all gears, ending up going from Drive to Neutral.Good car.

Does the odometer register the mileage when vehicle is in tow?

Just bought a 2006 CRV to tow with motor home. Instruction manual says to pull one of the inside fuses for extended (long term) towing. The dealer told me that means 8 hours of towing.

If I tow car for 8 hours of travel, with a lot of stops for resting, eating and gas, and with a lot of opportunity to run the engine and shift through the gears - do I still need to pull the fuse?

Any experience or comments on this?

I don't pull the fuse on my 06, but I'm using the SMI system that gets power from the MH.

I should also add that the only thing I do is start the engine after 7 hours of towing. Shut off the radio, and you should be good to go with what you are doing.
