Hi Folks,

I have been having problems with BB since I purchaced it last september and I have to ask the members if they have the same.
I have a 40' bus conversion and the remote reciever will not work at my dash area in my coach. Brake Buddy has sent me a replacement reciever with no prevail. The tech Frank, I spoke with today told me that the problem lies with all the mirror's in my coach. I told him that if I hold the reciever out the drivers window, it still will Not work. If I walk up the the toad, it works just fine. The tech then told me that in cases like this, they would refund the purchace price. He then offered me an upgrade to the Vantge select for an additional $400. I then asked him if that will solve my problem? He said he diddn't know! I then said to him, Why would I do that? And proceeded to tell him that I would take option #1, a refund! He now explains that that would have to be approved by management. I said OK, go ahead!
He comes back and now changes his tune and tells me that BB will Not refund my money at all. And gives the reason that I have owned it over 30 days....
Question, Am I the only guy having this problem?
Is this company just going to write me off?
What should I do?

I've had mine for 3 years with no problems. My rig is an '05 Bounder 36Z and I tow a '07 Colorado. Try re-locating the transmitter in your toad, I hang mine over the drivers sun visor.

I belieive that your problem is that your bus conversion has an all steel body structure rather
than the standard fiberglass RV. I have been in the bus transportation for years and reception is terrible in a steel unit. Maybe the hard wired brakebuddy classic would solve your problem. Good Luck!

I have a SMI Brake Silent Partner that is also wireless. I had similar radio problems on a 34 foot Newmar Gas coach. I did as Paul said, I hung the transmitter over the diver's sun visor. I then changed Toads and attached the transmit and receive antennas on the inside windshield of the toad using velcro. This worked the best. I also attached the Transmit and receive antennas to the coach driver side window (high up) with velcro. This configuration solved all of my radio problems.
