I drive a 2000 35' Class A MH with Ford V-10 engine and tow a Honda CRV. I normally cruise interstates at 65 mph. I recently spoke to someone who told me that they maximise mpg by running at 2500 rpm (I think that's about 60 mph).
QUESTION: Does anyone know what numbers will give me maximum mpg (RPM's and or MPH)?

Since there's been no response to this think I'll just put in my two-bits worth here.

In my opinon, your max gas milage isn't based on MPH or RPMs but on that right foot on the gas pedal and the terrain your traveling over. I've discovered that my best gas milage comes if I can stay in cruise control between 55 & 60 MPH. On my 05 32' class A workhorse, that generally equates to about 7.5 to 7.75 MPG pulling a 4X4 Sidekick.

As I recall the sweet spot (best hp/torque) for the V-10 is about 2450 rpm. On my rig this gives a speed of 58mph.

Install a vacuum gauge to your rig. This is the only way to control the miles per gallon. Keeping the needle at the lowest amount will always keep your mpg lower. It's the same idea as a turbo gauge on a diesel engine.
