I just finished scouring the "Leans Too Much" Thread. I went to the Bridgestone site, clicked Technical, etc. I couldn't figure out how to apply that info to knowing how much air pressure to run in my A-class. Bear with me; I'm just a bit slow at grasping technical info.

It seems to me, all the chart was telling me was what the air pressure maximum setting that's printed on the side of the tyres?

I stopped by 3 RV places to find someone to help me chart out the GVW stuff and no-one seemed to have any idea on how to accomplish this. What am I doing wrong????

I did weigh my rig (1999 Rexhall American-Cruiser 25.5 footer on a Ford F-53 chassis) and got the base numbers:
Vehicle Light Load: Front- 4980 lbs
Rear- 8580
total weight: 13,660

The front ID tags read:
Front GAWR= 6000
Rear GAWR= 11,000
GVWR = 15500

I then spent time attempting to figure out how to chart out the Firestone rear Air Bags (no front) usage. I completely struck out there.

I've tried to follow the links, read the topics thoroughly, but if an RV dealership can't help me figure this out, how am I supposed to do it on my own? Is someone willing to please walk me through this????

Specifically, which size (8R/19.5, 245/70R19.5, etc.) Bridgestone tires do you have and where are they placed?

Weigh your vehicle LOADED and ready to travel and provide those numbers.

The Bridgeston chart located at

provides the recommended minimum tire pressure for the load for the 8R/19.5 tires.

The chart located at
http://www.trucktires.com/us_eng/technical/loadinfl/table05.asp
gives the recommended minimum tire pressure for the load for the metric size tires (i.e. 245/70R19.5).

The front tires are what I just replaced with brand new Bridgestone 225/70R19.5

Don't I want to know what my weights and tyre pressure(s) for when I go light camping vs fully packed? The weights I just measured are for the light packed weekend trip. All the camping paraphanalia, 1/2 tanks of water and gas.

According to the Bridgestone chart located at http://www.trucktires.com/us_eng/technical/loadinfl/table05.asp the recommended minimum cold tire inflation pressure for your load shoud be 70 to 75 lbs.

Okay, now that I see where you came up with the 70-75psi, I totally grasp the chart. Thank you so much for helping me see where I was misinterpreting thier information. I can figure out the rest from here. Seriously Mike, I just needed that boost to get the big picture. You're Gold!!!
