My Coachmen is 3 years old and the rubber roof has started developing bubbles all over. The dealer says this is normal. Is it? I don't think so.

First, I suggest you get a bit more education about EDPM (rubber) roof membranes from the following EDPM mfg. websites;
http://www.dicor.com/
http://www.alphasystemsinc.com/
http://www.proguardcoatings.com/
and then a second, and maybe third, opinion from a good RV service center(s) in your area.

The problem could be that *you've* been using cleaning products which have damaged the EDPM but, if the educated opinion of another RV service center is that the problem is caused by faulty installation, skip the dealer and contact Coachman directly. You didn't say whether you bought the RV new or preowned but, either way, you should ask Coachman for a copy of their EDPM roofing membrane warranty and who the mfg. of the membrane was.

The warranty on EDPM roofing material is often longer from that mfg. then the warranty on the entire RV from the RV mfg. Unfortunately, it won't cover faulty installation.

Also unfortunate is the fact that many (most?) RV buyers aren't properly educated about EDPM roofing care by the selling dealer and, as a result, often damage the material themselves.

Mike: Thanks for the info. I purchased the RV new in 2002 with an extended warranty which covers the rubber roof. As far as damaging it myself, I've only cleaned and treated it twice each year with products made specifically for rubber roofs obtained from Camping World. The RV is parked in a covered RV port when not in use. I've had problems with the dealer before with warranty repairs, so I guess I'll deal diectly with Coachmen. Thanks again

Hi Guys
I Have a new Cedar Creek By Forest River
as everyone who knows your oof needs TLC
as Mine Cleaning comes first then sealing.
My Questions:#1 On rubber what is the best
cleaner to use and how often should this be done?
#2 Sealer wo makes the best and safest for the
Ultrviolet light that is always attacking the surfice of the Material
