Well folks, the spammers have won.

Try as hard as we did to keep them off of our Forum, and to delete their garbage as soon as they posted it, they were too many, too often and too prolific to keep up with.

As you can see by the message in the black banner under our forum title at the top of the page, our host is canceling this message board as of July 10th.

It's been a pretty good run, near ten years, and hopefully we, collectively, have been able to provide some help to our fellow RVer's.

I wish all of you well in your future travels and hope that you will join me in fondly remembering my Forum partner and friend, RAM, who passed away to young . . . too soon.

To Steve Das, Thanks Pal.

To the rest of you who helped make this forum whatever success it has been, Goodbye, So Long, Farewell & Amen.

To you SPAMMERS who will undoubtedly add your garbage to this thread . . . BITE ME! You ruined a good thing!

Oh no. There's no way to protect from spammers? This forum was the best. THE BEST. Always friendly, always swift to reply, and with the best people moderating. Sad. Happy trails to all of us.

Disappointing but not unexpected. It's been fun.

Mike, I've known you for nearly ten years through this service, the rv.chem days and posting my DIY RV paint job. I appreciate and respect you. You helped me and many others. Plus, it's been fun, at least till recently. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I remember RAM and his dedicated helpfulness.

Steve, thank you for all you've done, and the contributions you make through your own site.

Hopefully I'll see many of you on other RV forums. I post as jd on some and j-d on others, will be watching for you.
